Stealth Headlines – The news no one is fit to print

Howard Dean was quoted above the fold in Useless Today when asked about the momentum built up around the Republicans’ new campaign against the perceived “culture of consumption” plaguing liberal legislators of late. He noted particularly that “the culture of consumption was a shrill branding tactic spawned in the deep recesses of Karl Rove’s attic – Yee-aarrgggh!!!”

He was also questionned about any reponse he might have to allegations that Senator Kennedy was so completely wasted that he had reached into Congressman William Jefferson’s freezer and attempted to put frozen piles of cash in his martini shaker.

Harry Reid was scheduled to attend the QA session with Dean, but was unavailable for comment while attending ringside at a Nevada boxing title event.
