A380 Spiritual Lessons?

The new Airbus behemoth is truly a massive and breathtaking thing even without seeing it up close. I could not help but think that as man finds new ways to pack more people, luggage and jet fuel into aluminum tubes, he must surely find a new way to blame God when it all comes crashing down. Statistics say that eventually one of these giant tubes filled with people and volatile fuel will fall to the ground some day. As our airplanes get bigger, and our buildings taller, It makes perfect sense why catastrophes happen. The unfortunate victims invariably ask “Why God, did you allow this to happen? Why, oh why is there suffering?” I am sure that if I had to answer that question, that I would have a cynical remark of some sort, but I imagine God looking on as a father saying “Are you sure that you are ready to meet me?”
