Must Read Material – Hugh Hewitt Goes Line By Line With The Filibuster Of Judges

These exchanges between Hugh Hewitt and Nan Aron and Ralph Neas are absolutely revealing, and anyone seeking to know what really drives this initiative should read this and then read it again. Aron and Neas are arguing that the “vast majority of Americans” do not agree with the philosophy of the judges specifically named in these transcripts. They could not be further from the truth, and I am thankful that smart people like Hewitt are forcing these people to state in plain terms what there objective is, and what they think their justification is. The majority of Americans voted in unheard of numbers in November, and the unthinkable happened to the Democrats – they lost the presidency, and they lost seats. The “vast majority” of Americans that Neas and Aron are referring to must all be hanging out in San Francisco and New York City, because they just didn’t materialize on November 2, 2004.

I’ve mentioned this before, but I’ll say it again in reference to the filibuster: In government, majorities get to do things that non-majorities do not. This is a very simple principle, and it applies to both sides of the aisle. It’s called “we won, and you did not.” When you win elections, you win power and influence. When you do not win, you lick your wounds and move on, but you don’t sit out in the hallway and throw a tantrum about it. The Dems have enjoyed “rubber stamp” majorities just like this one for decades, but now that it is changed, they think we suddenly need more votes to confirm judges.

The irony of this is that both Neas and Aron represent the and Boxer/Pelosi far-left fringe of the Democrats, and they are claiming that the judges being filibustered are from the far-right fringe of the Republican party. People like Neas, Aron and Boxer are the ones who are saying that instead of the normal 51 votes it takes to confirm, they now want 60. Their whole argument says that since Republicans won the election *and* picked up seats, that the balance of power has shifted in favor of the right extremists, and that a rubber stamp dictatorial process is now threatening to crush the delicate balance of powers as we know them. Didja get all of that? Someone please call the cops.

They are absolutely out of their minds…

Read these transcripts and then tell others about them, because Democrats need to know that their party is being represented by Moonbats. Until they cleanse the attic of a few of these bats, they are going to keep losing elections and credibility with Joe voter.

If this does not tell you exactly what is happening here, then I just don’t know what will. Let’s do this people – Up, or Down.
