Chinese begin to worry U.S. militarily

China will allow its enemy to fund its own demise with every purchase at Home Depot, Target and Walmart.

Sorry, but America has been asleep on this issue for far too long. The Clinton years saw us actually trying to pull the PRC *up* to our level, and now we are up to our eyeballs in amphibious assault craft and submarines? Please.

The deadly combination of a political ideology that must, at its very core, treat the US as enemy number 1, along with an unbelievable deficit in trade and economic growth mixed in with strong Nationalism will bring this to a head much quicker than America thinks. It will take us by surprise, and we have ourselves to blame for it. The general perception of China as a bunch of farmers swatting oxen down a dirt road is exactly what the PRC hopes to project. Sun Tzu himself would marvel at how China has quietly realized superpower status without the US even blinking an eye. What a novel concept of using the American consumer-driven society to fill their coffers and build the PRC military complex!

Selected Pete’s money is on an aggressive PRC who will not stop at Taiwan. Taiwan will be nothing more than a quick case study. They will also not allow themselves to be slowly bled to death as the Soviets have already painfully learned. No, China will allow its enemy to fund its own demise with every purchase at Home Depot, Target and Walmart.

Anyone for a friendly wager?
