Dems Whine About Chairmanship Changes

leave a comment » – Politics – Key Chairmanship Changes Show GOP Grip

Chairmanships are rewards – It’s as simple as that. Chairs have the best office views, the most spending money, bigger staffs, and more time on CNN than others enjoy. They get rewards like this because they support and defend the folks at the head of the party (novel idea, that eh?). They do *not* get chairmanships by causing dissent, consistently voting against the party and by leaking sensitive information which helps the opposing parties to obstruct or defeat their legislation.

So, there you have it. The Dems do this, and the Republicans do this. It’s normal, and it’s the way things work whether it’s Sacramento or Washington. So – one can dissent if one desires, and that’s ok. If one decides to dissent often, or as a general habit – one will not likely be a chair. Politics is a war fought with words and minds – winners don’t win by allowing their dissenters to run the show. That, my friend… would be stupid.
