And the Gods of the Copybook Headings limped up to explain it once more.

Getting A Bit Drafty, Don’t You Think?

Pardon My English gets it. Michelle Malkin gets it. At least one person at the Seattle Times gets it. The kids at Reed College took the bait and bit down hard, but they too will get it eventually.

Didj’a get the email lately that tells you all about the insidious plot by Rumsfeld to draft the nation’s sons and daughters, in secret, at night, illegaly, and experiment on them using alien technology, then send them packing to Baghdad? The first three links above should give you a decent feel for the source of this tripe, but already kids like the folks at Reed College are squirming, thinking that they’re going to be the next Tom Cruise heading off to war a la the “4th Of July

I have one word for those of you who are squirming about the phony draft email: READ. Read, and then read some more. When you’re done doing that, go read. If you are directing your life and your worries based on items you see on the Daily Show or via emails that your cousin Jenny sends you from Minnesota, you are shooting big fat zeroes, my friend.

Thanks go to “Henry” for inciting me to this drivvle 8^)
