Milk Envy
President Jimmy Carter wishes he had something…anything.. to milk. But he doesn’t, and he never really did (except maybe for the US tax payer). That’s why it’s a bit humorous to hear him flap on about McCain ”milking” his time as a POW.
Four Years ago, John Kerry stood at the platform of the DNC and announced that he was “reporting for duty!” But it just didn’t ring as true for Winter Soldier Kerry as it does now for John McCain. You see, John McCain never dragged his country through the mud as did John Kerry. They both served admirably from most accounts, but at the end, that’s where they chose very separate paths.
So, Mr Carter, you can carp all you like about John McCain milking his service, but I think he’s at least earned the right. You had your chance to do a different kind of milking once upon a time, and our collective pocketbooks are still smarting for it today. Let’s let a real hero taste some well-deserved glory.
The Obama Drafts Joe Biden – Changes Campaign Slogan To “Change – What’s It Good For?”
After briefly losing visual contact with the teleprompter, Barack Obama deftly recovered his coveted presidency from Joe “Dunkin’ Donuts” Biden who could be heard behind stage muttering “shucks – but so-o-oo clean and articulate!”
A senior insider to the campaign who still wished to attend the DNC in Denver revealed that with the addition of Biden to the ticket, the well-known slogan “Change You Can Believe In” would now be transformed to a more fitting “Change – What’s It Good For?”
Developing…
Well…Actually, that is everything. There will be no future developments.
The Altenberg 16 – What Exactly Are They Doing In There?
Trust me on this - they will remain materialist and quite naturalist. They will claim this is just a natural progression of scientific theory and that materialism is still strong as an ox. But will they throw Darwin under the bus? My guess is no, but the Altenberg 16 signify something we have not seen in the public eye for decades, and that is a reigning scientific paradigm in real struggle and self-critique…from the inside. Still, folks such as Richard Dawkins and his “tiny, almost impercetible change” mantra will most certainly persist, but this meeting, with these scientists, should at least put to rest that tired old “evolution is no more controversial among scientists than [insert favorite physics experiment here] line.
