This offset nonsense promises to be the next “Oil For Food” debacle, but on a much grander scale. It is going to be fun to watch the frivolities that ensue as the UN and folks like Sheryl Crow scramble to create their own equivalent of the “Green Vatican.” I am picturing a large, minty green-hatted Bill Clinton or Al Gore sitting on a matching green throne at the UN in the near future. Airlines, energy providers and limo drivers will be kissing his hand and leaving their offsets at his feet….
